I am a full-time (and then some !!) Spiritual counselor. I love peoples from all over the world and enjoy music, dance and learning about the traditions of devotion throughout the world.
I am recently widowed, have one son a step-daughter and six lovely grandchildren.
I love to go for long drives and take walks in the beauty of nature.
I believe in the Most High.
I believe that we are Spiritual beings in physical bodies.
I believe that we are all in part Divine.
I believe that we are all here to complete our piece of "The Great Work".
I believe in the power of prayer in all faiths...
I believe that devotion is the key to enlightenment.
I believe that faith is the key to healing - emotionally, physically and spiritually.
I believe that love is the most powerful force on this planet - and in its vast expansion will create Heaven on Earth.
Blessings and Smiles - In Love and Light,
Steve Bohlert served as an international leader in the Krishna Movement for eight years (1967-74). In 1974, Lalita Prasad Thakur initiated him into the esoteric path of natural devotion to Radha-Krishna. He later was ordained and served as a pastor and teacher in the United Church of Christ for eleven years (1991-2002). He studied postmodern, Western intellectual and academic theological traditions at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California, earning a Master of Divinity degree (1991).
Bohlert lived in India for three years as an itinerant monk and gained firsthand experience of Radha-Krishna devotion in its homeland as well as teaching extensively in the west. While staying in Vrindaban, he was befriended and mentored by O.B.L. Kapoor, who directed him to Lalita Prasad Thakur (1879-1980), the son and disciple of renowned nineteenth century reformer and Westernizer of Chaitanyaism, Bhaktivinode Thakur (1838-1914).
In 1974, Lalita Prasad initiated Bohlert into the esoteric practices of natural devotion. For a fortnight, he lived with Lalita Prasad and learned everything he needed to know. These teachings form the basis of Universalist Radha-Krishnaism. Although he planned to stay in India permanently, Lalita Prasad told him to preach in the West. He left the renounced life and reentered American society.
When he moved to Hawaii in 2005 and intensified the natural devotional practices learned from Lalita Prasad, Bohlert found he could no longer uncritica...
Hello, my hobbies include anything having to do with the out of doors. I'm an amateur astronomer and believe that we are all ONE of the same in body and spirit working toward ONE mind. We are a part of everything 'out there'..everything resides in us..just look at a star..the light we see absorbs into our being and also becomes a part of us..and our chemical make-up. We are all connected.
Profession wise, I'm also a web developer that combines my loves of art and design.
My spiritual beliefs is one of Love. I study and learn from all religions and philosophies however, I follow and am one with Native Indian Spirituality which is my soul calling - many life times over. I have always felt the religions of the world have basic underlying tenets that compliment each other with a core understanding. Each philosophy carrying it's own part of the Divine Human Puzzle of understanding.
In this current age, the more people working toward common goal of awareness will eventually change the world..and is doing so currently. One group, one mind and the power of choice and prayer makes a difference!
Many Blessings Be Yours On Your Sacred Path!...
I have been a Bahai for more than 30 years and I have so many interests I don't know where to begin. My Faith actually embraces many more teachings than I was able to list here, so I had to choose the main ones. I love to learn about world cultures and arts and meet many different kinds of people. Whether I embrace another belief system or not, I love seeing everything through the eyes of an anthropologist and social psychologist. I love the study of books and literature, and just getting involved with people of all ages. I especially love arts, music and culture from the Eastern world and I love studying the mystical, symbolic and Jungian side of life. I am a good writer. I love counseling and advising others, but mostly I like to see others as my own family and equals rather than "help" anybody from a stance of feeling superior.
I am starting a new MSN group of my own called Prayer Summit Walkways. This is sort of a beginner's website for those who don't know how to create them. As I have just started creating this, I have elected that one cannot view it as of yet, but if you personally write me and let me know how you might want to contribute, there is a way to send you an "invite". Due to the dearth of material there thus far, I have, for now, elected just to invite charter members to help build a foundation, rather than open this up for the general public. I want this site to reflect all of the mysticism of the major traditions and their variations. As I am want...
As a mystic I live Love, serve Truth and share with others as and when moved to do so. I am a mother, counsellor, priest and partner in a business to produce a revolutionary, pollution free electrical generator that uses no fossil fuel.
My interests include poetry, music and contributing to interfaith harmony and understanding.
I am a theologically trained ordained minister in a mainline American denomination. I have experienced the birth of my inner mystic and now have little interest in religion but I have a deep passion for spirituality. I believe that one of my callings is to "re/member" the goddess to the godhead, which gives me an interest in the divine feminine. I believe that the present renewed interest in the divine feminine this return of the goddess to our consciousness is a sign of the coming awakening to higher consciousness of humanity....
hello i´m flo and i believe it is time to have a place on earth,
where temples and churches of all religions, at least worldreligions,
stand next to each other. at least, religions have much more incommon,
than they are devided. my way is the mystic way ( meditation ), the
way to god, that people go in sufism, kabbalah and christianmystic.
my roots is theravadabuddhism, but i feel close to the monotheists
the important question for me is, if god is personificated or unpersonificated - may be he is both. i think even buddhists have a god, the one allmighty existance ( nirvana ), origin and end of all that is existing ---> mytic people - let`s unite...
My introduction to spirituality as a cradle-Catholic gave me a deep love of ritual and mysticism. As I entered adulthood, I felt the need to find a "living" faith relevant to my everyday life that encompassed the essence of the teachings of the historical Jesus. My search took me through a gamut of Christian experiences in Protestant settings from traditional to charismatic, however, these practices fell short. As a woman, I longed to connect my femininity through spirituality. I began to study mystic texts, Goddess traditons, Sufi texts, Qabalah and Tree of Life principles as well as Chakra systems, Wiccan and Native American traditions, the sacred texts of Hinduism, Islaam, Judaism, historical studies of Jesus (before Christianity), ancient Celtic Pagan and Christian teachings, Chaos theory, Metaphysics, and mythology. I also became increasingly involved in holistic and integrative healing modalities, and have completed second level traditional Usui Reiki training. I am currently training to become a Master/Teacher. In community, I have initiated Celtic study groups, volunteered in prison and hospital/hospice programs, and worked in various capacities as a facilitator, teacher, and leader with children, youth, and women. I am currently a pastoral care volunteer (having completed a 12 week grief recovery program and a 14 week pastoral care training module) in an interfaith chaplaincy program at a local hospital system. Professionally, I am an administrative...
I consciously awoke to metaphysical concepts, ideas and practices in 1960.
Since then I have been involved in many workshops about spiritual
growth, meditation, spiritual healing, trance mediumship and dreamwork.
I live in Jackson County, North Carolina and am interested in connecting
with others who live in these beautiful mountains for companionship.
I publish the JOSEPH DREAMS Newsletter about spiritual growth and self-discovery at http://www.josephdreams.com...
