I am a campus minister at a Jesuit University. I also teach Religious Studies to adult undergraduate student in an accelerated program. I was interested in this group because I have written and taught a course in Spirituality and Community. I am looking for some resources (text, articles) which reflect diverse religious and spiritual traditions and their ideas about community and working for the common good....
To quote HH the Dalai Lama, "My religion is compassion." I am a peacemaker, interfaith minister, healer, and counselor. I'm an online instructor of Philosophy & Religious Studies courses, including World Religions. My latest book, Breaking the Boxes, is about going beyond "organized religion" to an "open spirituality. I believe that we are each precious and perfect children of one Creator who is both within us and around us. That is where our unity derives. I believe that the spiritual realm IS - now and forever.
Justice and compassion need to be interwoven if we are to help to heal the cosmos. This begins in individual hearts and households, and expands beyond our wildest expectations. I am very involved in activism on women's issues and human rights. I speak up!
My primary interests are in exploring the depths of spirituality, on
the one hand, and the tools of scholarship (social science & humanities)
to address the social crises of our time, notably our cultural of
violent solutions and its consequences -- war, poverty, ecological
destruction, etc. I am doing research on Gandhi's legacies (especially in India) and have been exploring spirituality out my own Quaker faith community and other traditions (esp. Buddhist). I have written a book called Gods in the Global Village (Pine Forge/Sage) that some members of this community may find interesting. I also edited a 3-vol. Encyclopedia of Violence, Peace, and Conflict(Academic Press, 1999), and co-edited a book on nonviolent social movements (Blackwell's, 1998 or '99)...
The Gnostic Pagan Tradition is a revolutionary spiritual/political Association dedicated to celebrating the New Aeon of the Conquering Child based on a contemporary reformulation of Gnosticism, Thelemite Magick, Neo-Paganism, Jungian Philosophy & Historical Materialism (Socialism). We offer online instruction free of charge and would be interested in exchanging links with other liberating organizations. We respectfully decline solicitation from patriarchal individuals or organizations representing the false god Jehovah.

I am a Korean protestant christian, 37 years old. Culturally I lived in familiarity with confucious and buddhist tradition. I believe there is not only one religion leading to our salvation. But personally I pray only to my God, through the name of Jesus Christ, Lord of Peace.
Please pray for reunification of Korean People, for north Koreans who are experiencing extremely painful days of famine and oppression. Thank You very much....
I have recently started to attend a liberal Episcopal church in my home town and have become incresingly more interested in using its teachings as a framework for my own attempts to make the world a better place. I hope that through this community I might find soe enlightenment, some support, and some common ground....
Having spent many years trying to jump off the fence on both sides, I have come down firmly grounded in my spirituality.
I believe in a living God who gave all for love of mankind through the crucifixion of His Son. I believe God is Love and Love is Giving.
Since I have made a definite commitment to one side of the fence, life has gained meaning and purpose. It is an awesome adventure.
My purpose lies within the world of electronic communication. It has taken many forms. The most prominently displayed are www.hopeandspirit.com and www.spiritualsisters.com....

I am a theology teacher in a Roman Catholic high school. I have long been interested in interreligious dialogue (for about 30 years now). Along with my wife, I am a folk singer / songwriter, and a great lover of the visual arts and music of all types. I look forward to meeting others in order to learn from them and maybe even become friends with some. I am open to learning from all faith traditions, (with a special longstanding interest in Buddhism, especially Zen) even while I am passionately devoted to my own....
