I am a Sempiternal Harmonist. I study Scripture of religions for the purpose of understanding the oneness of the spiritual nature that ties this three dimensional reality to the infinite father. One great tool for this purpose is the book "World Scripture."
I am a Master Mariner by trade, and I have many electronic and computer related skills. On May 7th,2005, I graduated from UNC at Wilmington, NC with a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies. Consentration in Jugian psychology. Thesis: Cross Cultural Spiritual Values and Prospects for Peaceful Coexistence. Presently attempting to establish a Center for Peaceful Coexistence Research as an adhoc community service of UNCW....
Currently I prefer to refer to myself as Eclectic, but I DO attend a Unitarian Universalist Church. I am open to just about all religions and try to respect the people who practice religions different from my own....
I have a background in Buddhism, Christianity, Freemasonry, philosophy, aikido, practical meditation, and so on. These
are my main interests. For "beans on the table", I have in the past
done computer stuff. For the last few years, I've
done a lot of prison chaplaincy, something I did in specialty
for a few years, but now on a more consistent basis. In connection with that, also considerable research on early child development, neurobiology and brain development. We live in a fascinating world!...
I am a counselor (psychotherapy).
I am interested in spirituality and in mysticism, especially Christian mysticism.
I also write poetry.
My spiritual path has been greatly nourished by the saints of the Carmel (John of the Cross, Teresa of Avila, Thérèse de Lisieux, Elisabeth de la Trinité...) and also by the oriental traditions (advaïta, taoism, buddhism...).
The contemplative prayer is my oxygen since 1994 and I walk the path of the Beloved God and Christ....
I believe in the Universal Truth of all of the worlds religions. As Ghandi said: "GOD has No Religion" Humankind has developed many belief systems and then tried to lay claim that theirs is the only one sanctioned or recognized by GOD. GOD does not care which religion or denomination we adhere to, he/she only cares about us.
We are each one of us a unique creation and the creatror dwells in each and everyone of us....
I am Ki'Dasa, a Servant of Light. I have been labeled: White Witch, Bodhisattva, Angel, Shaman, Lightworker, and Mage. None of these titles are incorrect. In my experience, the Divine manifests in all forms. The various Faiths/Paths/Religions are but various ways of "pointing out" the Divine to Seekers. The Practices of the different Paths are merely Techniques that teach one how to sense/communicate with one's Higher Self, which allows one to manifest Divine Will.
Organized Religion (the big 3: Christianity, Judaism, Islam) tends to focus on Faith in the Divine. This hyper-focusing is primarily due to the fallacy that we are separate from the Divine Source. We, and everything else in Existence, are manifestations or Aspects of the Divine Source. There is no separation.
Eastern Traditions focus more on Mastering the Self. Consciously controlling one's Self allows one to Purify the Mind and Body. Purity of the Spirit naturally follows. Being Pure in Spirit allows one to be Aware of their innate connection to the Divine Source.
Spiritual Paths, those whose Practitioners Consciously work with the energies of the Universe, focus on receiving and serving one's Purpose. The Techniques used range widely, from personal Ki (energy) manipulation to Invoking Aspects of the Divine Source to communication with Guides/Spirits/Angels to developing/mastering "psychic" Talents to Healing and High Ceremonial Magicks.
That being said, I consider myself to be a Spiritual Tour-guid...

I work as an IT Manager for an Internet and Media Company. My main interest are in Music and Contemplation / Meditation.
I also like to read and contemplate on the teachings or biographies of great teachers, saints, avathar's and meditate or at least concentrate for now on the jyothi flame (light) and all it represents.
I believe whole heartedly on the Brotherhood of man and the Fatherhood of God in the Spiritual sense - as one beloved teacher said:
"waves are many ocean is ONE, jewels are many GOLD is ONE, clouds are many Sky is ONE and forms are many but GOD is ONE".
Although a hindu by birth I beleive in the true purpose of all the major religions of the world and have complete respect for all. I beleive it is good to be born in a temple, church, mosque etc... but bad to die in one. Meaning these stepping stones are there to help and guide you to God Realisation and not to tie and bind you to its ritualistic practices or ideology. To go beyond the body and mind and live, be and become the Divine (not the form) here and now.
For the future, I look forward to an explosion of the higher conciousness throughout the world. It is said it is compared to the atom bomb. It takes only a few particles to start vibrating, the vibrating particle hits it's closest neighbour, it in turn hits its neighbour and so on until enough are vibrating to induce the explosion. - Living is so much nicer when it is in harmony with everything....
OK, I am evaluating my spirituality and am being very broad-minded about it. I am studying Wicca, Paganism, Buddhism, "A Course In Miracles" and Sylvia Browne's "Journey of the Soul" series from Novus Spiritus. Whew!
I am also trying to incorporate a healthier way of eating by studying Shojin-Ryori,Zen Buddhist Temple Cooking, and Vegetarianism in general--or I was at the time I first wrote this! Now, I am just trying to get my family to eat healthy, organic foods.
My nine-year-old and I are attempting Yoga, running and soccer.
I hope to meet people who are on the same "crazy and wild" path that I am on seeking spiritual enlightenment.
Peace, Love and Happiness to All!...

I am an Artist, which is to say I am a co-creator. That makes me no different than you in that respect except I am conscious of the fact and it has become my vocation, which some would also call my profession.
I am a Painter, and now a novelist with my work in progress called "I do Art, I do Life, Life does me...."(C)
I am a Buddhist--which fits with my chief area of interest which is consciousness. You Might say I am a "Mind is All" believer with matter being a special case of Mind and mind within matter being a special case of the brain receiving very narrow frequencies of Mind, and processing them in certain programed ways. Logic and mathamatics in my scheme of things which are intrisic to the processing of information are biologically built into the whole organisms processor. I may have some of this wrong--in fact I know I do...for these are pragamatic maps for self actualization...that keep evolving as I do...I call these stories.
In a supretrue-sense our lifetimes are holographic stories within stories, making entrance and exits, and interweaving with each other within the individual, and between individuals.
Recently I have reached two landmarks--I have become a senior citizen---and I had a heart attack...Both have had great spiritual effects on me. For they made ever more clear to me the unvarnished truth of my mortality, which began the moment I was born into body. That translates to Love...for each moment I have left (and believe me I would like to finis...

i teach yoga at the parkdale yoga centre, wolverhampton uk.
my main interest in joining UCS is to reach out to others and be reached by others.
the linking of people of goodwill from all over the world seems to me be the most crucial
work at this time. there are many problems - not least because people become territorial about their beliefs,
and attached to their identities. for this reason i try to make my yoga teaching broad and non -sectarian.
i believe that behind our feelings of identity, in the gaps in our ego complex, and at the heart of our consciousness
itself, there is peace and love and energy. all we need to do is see it and relax into it.
of course, this means a radical change of perspective for most, and that can be frightening.
however, the rewards are immeasurable in terms of life lived to the full!
other activities of parkdale yoga centre - organic vegetable and fruit growing, shiatsu,
music, bowen technique, painting etc....
Raised Christian I began investigating Buddhism a few years ago. I like what Jiddu Krishnamurti has to say, especially about not following others but being a light unto oneself. I practice Vipassana meditation (teacher S N Goenka) as well as White Tara meditation, Tonglen and Lam Rim types. I have a psychology degree and a diploma in transpersonal counselling (shamanistic model). I have been reading religious / philosophical / human consciousness books on and off for 25 years - but only just discovered that knowledge aint wisdom. Despite that, am commencing a Masters degree in Social Ecology next year!!! Hopefully it will be an amalgamation of the two.
In the real world I work as a Systems Analyst, have three grown children, a dog and two rabbits. I am doing some work as a spiritual growth and intuitive guide and would like to move out of my existing job and still keep my pets in the manner in which they have become accustomed.
In case you can't tell I have a bad sense of humour. Anyway, I am always interested in chatting and discussing things with people, like books to read and philosophies to ruminate over....
I have an interest in all spiritual paths and in finding the common ground that exists between them. My background is in Native American spirituality (I am part Sioux & Cherokee -- my partaneral great grandmother was a full blood) I am a Pipe Carrier and teacher of the sacred, a tradition passed to me by my elders.
I am a professional trained therapist with a Masters in both Counseling and in Religious Studies. I have been in private practice since 1984 -- using a holistic approach to my work. I am also a Reiki Master/Teacher -- and along with my husband teach Reiki classes through our business CASA Services.
As a teacher I lead seminars on "The Instictual Woman", and on Feminine Spirituality". It is my belief that the energy of this new age requires a greater awareness and understanding of the deep feminine, and of the feminine within the divine.

With Palms Together,
May all beings live in peace and be free from suffering. I am a Zen monk and live deep in the mountains of southern, New Mexico. We are 13 miles from the nearest two lane highway. My residence, Rocky Top Refuge, is home to our small training monastery, Daihoji. We live simply, off the grid, and use renewable energy sources.
I am a former therapist who became a priest some years ago. My life is full, but rather reclusive. I practice daily zazen, work meditation, and train for long distance runs. I believe that a full life is a healthy life and that our practice should nurture this fullness.
A deep bow to each of you,
